Our Story
The Adams Estate was originally built as a private residence by Dr. Charles W. Adams—a founding settler of Lake Alfred, Florida—and his wife, Emmie Reynolds Adams. Over the years, the Estate has served as a cherished gathering place for private weddings and celebrations. The property has since been passed down to the family’s third generation of descendants, who have carefully maintained its timeless grace and classic charm. Today, the doors of the Adams Estate are open for you and your guests to enjoy as an intimate and unforgettable venue for weddings, corporate and social events.
Where We Are

Located midway between Orlando and Tampa in the quiet railroad town of Lake Alfred, Florida, the Adams Estate sits on more than 24 acres of unspoiled outdoor beauty. Sprawling citrus groves create a private and picturesque frontage for the property, and a 700+ acre lake surrounds the Estate on three sides, providing an expansive waterfront backdrop for your special event.
